Experience: Sajal worked three years for EcoAgriculture Partners in Washington, DC highlighting the need to consider agriculture and land use for integrating adaptation, mitigation and rural development. In the five years at LI-BIRD he has worked on research design and implementation (community-based biodiversity management, integrated landscape management, grassroots breeding).
Role in project: As climate change expert Sajal will guide the implementing team to ensure the tested SAKs are climate change sensitive while designing, testing and evaluating.
